LEARNING EXPERIENCES

CHS students engage in learning experiences that enable them to become active citizens in a democratic society.

Student knowledge is enhanced by a rigorous civics curriculum with a minimum of three and one-half credits in social studies required for graduation.  Required classes include one credit in Government, one credit in World History, one credit in United States History and one-half credit in Civics.  Each class builds upon the knowledge of the previous class offered, creating a foundation of civic knowledge before graduation.
